Digital Project Manager
Job Summary
If digital blood runs through your veins we want to talk to you. We're growing quickly and want an applicant who seeks a challenging opportunity yet haven to grow and learn. There is a great deal of opportunity to evolve in this role integrating your passions and strengths but you need to be prepared to wear many hats. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, have an acute attention to details, and have notable organization skills. If you've had prior experience working for an interactive agency or software company - that's a plus. A Bachelor's degree required and 1-3 years work experience.
Qualifications:
- Ability to successfully execute on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record delivering high quality work while hitting commitments and timeframes based on product and business requirements.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong grammar and writing skills, excellent organization skills, creative eye for proofing/checking work, and an easy going client service style within a fast paced environment.
- Experience creating wireframes (OmniGraffle, Axure, Mockflow, etc.) and using project management software (ActiveCollab, MSProject, BaseCamp, etc.).
- Knowledge of cross-platform browser compatibility restrictions and requirements.
- We are small, so having strong technical abilities and the ability to learn quickly is very necessary.
- Thorough understanding of overall web site design, including usability, industry standards, and web analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree required and 1-3 years experience. Must live in or near NYC.
Duties:
- Assist managing clients and projects and facilitate interactions between our vendors and sub-contractors.
- Support team with programmimg in XHTML and CSS. We are not seeking a developer for this position but someone who understands the basics of coding and frameworks.
- Manage day-to-day project activities and ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
- Help manage client expectations to identify and manage project goals, staffing, scheduling, risks, and contingency plans.
- Collaborate on new business.
- Teach clients how to use their content management system.
- Help organize office systems and procedures.
- Assist with monthly Newsletter / Social Media content.
- The job can be divided into the following: 70% project management; 20% basic programming; 10% new business and trend reporting.
- Assist with the development of mobile apps, software systems, and content management systems.

Internship: Web Designer
Job Summary
ikonic has an immediate opening for a web intern to assist the team in a broad range of projects while gaining real world experience.
Qualifications:
- Must be organized and want to learn all about digital marketing.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Well versed in Social Media.
- Desire to learn some common programming languages and web standards.
- Demonstrated experience in using OmniGraffle or Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Dreamweaver, ActiveCollab (or an equivalent project management tool).
- A good understanding of design fundamentals.
- The completion of at least 4 semesters in an accredited program.
- An online portfolio.
Duties:
- Assist the team in a broad range of projects.
- Collect research and web trend content as needed.
- Learn web programming standards as it relates to front-end development.
- Design on a range of web, mobile apps and print projects.
- Collaborate on new business.
- Help organize office systems and procedures.
- Assist with monthly Newsletter content.
- The job can be divided into the following: 50% gathering research and 50% design.
