SUMMARY
The Social Media / Project Manager is responsible for helping conceptualize, create, execute, measure and evaluate social media programs for a variety of ikonic's clients. Primary responsibilities include: managing, maintaining and growing clients' social media channels and serving as account manager on a variety of digital media projects.
Core assignments include: managing the day-to-day operations of projects; leveraging social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels to strengthen marketing campaigns; providing detailed analysis, monitoring, tracking and reporting on performance of these channels; researching industry best practices for existing and emerging trends in social media and making recommendations for application to marketing programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills to deal with internal and external contacts. Ability to resolve problems in an effective, diplomatic manner.
- Advanced knowledge of how to leverage social networking sites, tools, plugins, video & photo sharing sites, etc.
- Actively participate in social media activities such as listening, posting, and reporting.
- Demonstrate strong project management experience including ability to independently prioritize and track complex, competing schedules; proactively anticipate and complete tasks; and self-initiate programs. Analytical skills to administer all aspects of a project and initiate program activities independently.
- Participate in strategic and creative work sessions, providing technical guidance and creative solutions that fit within the project parameters (strategy, budget, timeline, etc.).
- Possess strong internet research skills with the ability to find and compile interesting and relevant content #blog posts, news items, photos, video, etc.). Ability to find consumer insights and identify patterns.
- Willingness to keep abreast of industry trends and technologies and contribute frequent suggestions. Ability to learn software applications and systems.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner, and hold them accountable throughout the process.
- Immediately and professionally communicate implications and/or red flags (and provide recommendations) regarding project changes or failure.
- Maintain and manage project budgets – track and report on hours and all associated job costs.
- Define, implement and monitor quality assurance standards on all project deliverables.
- Conduct project postmortems to determine successful and unsuccessful project elements for best practice development.
- Assist in new business activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years professional account management and social media work experience, including demonstrated success using social media to grow a consumer brand through creative thinking that drives measurable results. Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube platforms; integration of tools and third-party applications.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, english or related field preferred.
- Detailed knowledge and experience with how interactive projects are defined and developed, tasks and resources associated with interactive projects, and the interrelationships among project elements, plus task completion across disciplines.
- Demonstrated project management skills – ability to juggle many projects, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines, evaluate and resolve problems, and remain calm during conflict.
- Painstaking attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) to a wide variety of audiences.
- An articulate, friendly, “whatever-it-takes” attitude, along with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge/understanding of basic marketing principles and strategies.
- An absolute passion to produce great integrated marketing communications solutions on behalf of our clients.

Developer (Drupal/WP)
ikonic is looking for a back-end developer with 1-3 years of experience building and maintaining database-backed web applications. The Back-end Developer will work closely with our in-house creative team, so you must be a team player and thrive in collaborative environments.
Responsibilities Include:
* Creating, maintaining, and updating Drupal content types and templates.
* Assisting in the development of custom modules.
* Customizing Ubercart and Drupal Commerce in D6.
* Assisting in mobile development
* Integrating social media APIs into CMSs.
Education and experience
* 1-3 years experience developing database-backed web applications, including experience in Drupal and PHP
* Comfortable with agile software development practices
* Experience working with Git or other VC
* MVC a major plus
* Strong understanding of Web Development as it is today – you know how it all works
* Proven experience programming in PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery
* Strong desire to work at the bleeding edge and mash-up new technologies
* Fluent familiarity with all aspects of Drupal development, including themeing and site implementation
* Familiarity with UNIX/Linux system administration of a LAMP stack
* Expertise coding standards-compliant XHTML/HTML and CSS
* Passion and thirst for new technologies / frameworks / and specifications
* Experience managing software development projects and developers
* A positive attitude and a passion for creating beautiful and functional web applications

Internship: Web Analytics
As a Web Analytics Intern at ikonic, you will work as part of the team facilitating the analytics side of the business. The intern will be involved in all aspects of tracking campaigns via Google Analytics and Social Media tools. He or she will support ikonic's efforts and will brainstorm with us, develop with us, and learn all about the industry.
The ideal candidate is extremely passionate about digital marketing with a detective bent. You have an insatiable desire to uncover truths by seeking insights hidden in secondary and primary research and find satisfaction in your ability to apply stats to human sentiment and emotions. You're intuitive but find safety with numbers to support your thinking. You must be extremely detail oriented.
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiarity with web analytic tools such as Google Analytics.
- Can explain the differences between different link shortening services.
- Proficiency in time management and task prioritization.
- Well versed in Social Media.
Duties:
- Setup Google Analytics & Track Campaigns.
- Monitor conversations about our clients via advanced Social Media Tools.
- Develop weekly and monthly reports.
- Compile SEO and PPC reports.
- Integrate tracking into Drupal and Wordpess Tracking.
- Tag online ads.
Mandatories
